Instead of using the orginal active amplifier David powers the speakers with an Integra multi-channel HT amp
that he had "laying around". For filtering he is using our DCN24 kit including XOverWizard II advanced software
with measurement and optimizer tools. He has even invested in an Edirol UA-101 soundcard - excellent quality.

After the initial test David has bought another DCN24 kit for his Home Theater subwoofer and considering making
the entire system active - either building DIY loudspeakers or removing the passive crossover from a set of used
speakers.
