Stereo Power Amplifier "OP"
The development of an amplifier can sometimes be fun
Here are some pictures of a stereo amplifier using our SPA600 Kit
The amplifier is capable of delivering 2 x 180W / 8 Ω and 2 x 320W / 4 Ω
The first build is this rather simple wooden chassis - don't laugh it plays music better than it looks!
Next step - an early assembly to see if everything fits
The back panel with XLR - SpeakOn - Powercon connectors from Neutrik and a power switch
The lid is also the heat sink - or rather the whole chassis will act as heat sink
The chassis foot holds the power transformer - we agreed to reduce the height of the foot a bit
The amplifier "OP" will be a bit different than all of the other amplifiers out there
